I cancelled my account and received a message to confirm account cancellation had been completed. Two weeks later another attempt to take £74.99 …. PayPal have paid it now Liven aren’t responding to my messages to refund the money.

The input I was looking for needs several in app purchased on top of the membership fee.

Misleading input and poor customer service

I hoped for a great app. And although it looks good and professional it is very misleading on the content and service it provides. After signing up and paying the fee I found out that many of the input I was looking for needs several in app purchased on top of the membership fee.

I contacted them within the hour after purchase but they were not willing to refund or provide any additional service.

Avoid!!! There’s No Way To Cancel The Subscription and No Response From Customer Support.

Paid for a trial of the app. I don’t recall being made aware that there would be a charge going forward, but as there often is, I looked into it and emailed their customer support as per the cancellation process just in case. I clearly stated that I didn’t want my subscription to continue once the trial period was over. I received no response, I was then charged £59.99. I emailed customer support again and so far have had no response.

Edit. The reply asks me to email customer support, but I did twice. I also reached out on Facebook to ask if the customer support inbox was monitored and state that I had sent messages there. I then emailed customer support giving them a few working days to respond, after which I would open a dispute on PayPal. I was ignored again and have opened a dispute. When I contacted PayPal I found that I have been charged 59.99 twice!

The app literally does nothing at all.

They make it very hard to cancel.

They make it unclear what they will charge you and have just charged me £74.99.

I instantly emailed asking for a refund and now they’re making it impossible to get my money back.

This is a complete scam

This is a complete scam. I did not sign up for a recurring card payment and now discover whilst away that money has been taken out of my account regularly in an account I only use whilst on Holiday.
I paid for a 1 month trial only… then I see in my account €59.99 has been taken out. At no point was I made aware of further charges. they advertise €59.99 for a year’s membership. I keep getting the same rubbish automated responses slightly adjusted with a name each time. I am not letting this go. They are a fraudulent company scamming people out of money.

Absolute scam!

Absolute scam!! I downloaded the app via apple where you have to click that you will pay for in app purchases, then saw that you get 3 free days then charged £7.99 a month. I tried to cancel straight away but it doesn’t let me do anything and now I’m being charged and money taken from my account!
Emails are replied to saying they have no trace of me but if I give them bank card details they’ll look into it!!! Someone please get back to me and DO NOT TELL ME TO CONTACT YOU ONLY TO BE TOLD THE SAME LIES!!!!
GIVE ME AND ALL OTHERS OUR MONEY BACK!!!!!

automatically charged my cc, because thats what happens with many apps. No big deal, they usually respond and refund you as long as they can see you actually aren’t using the app. I wrote to liven and they tried to offer a ‘50% refund’ and worded it to sound like they were helping me “After reviewing your request, we’d like to extend an offer of a 50% refund as a token of our appreciation for your patience and understanding. Additionally, we have some exciting upsells for free that we believe you may find valuable. We would appreciate it if you let us know in case you are interested in this generous offer.”

WOW what a deal! Half of what I wanted back and some things I didn’t ask for! I responded demanding a refund and they agreed. Stupid.
